Chronicles Of A Spiller

I am starting a new topic for my blog, hence the above...

Anyway, I've come to realize that I am the ultimate Spiller. Most who know me, this is no surprise, but let me give a touch of background.

I was at Thanksgiving dinner at the in-laws, and my sister-in-law brought her boyfriend. I managed to spill milk on him not once, but twice in one sitting. Pretty impressive right?

I hadn't really thought about this topic since it hasn't really been happening. Well, it was just dormant. Since our family's trek to Alaska started I have come back with a vengeance.

I managed to spill an entire Monster drink in my sister-in-law's in-law's house. (you follow?)

Then, we got on the Alaska Marine Highway System (ferry to Alaska), and spilled Diet Dr. Pepper all over Heidi's pajamas, and spilled coffee all over her today.

Even worse, I've passed this gene on to Madeleine. Before I spilled coffee on Heidi today, Maddie did it first...

So, now I've decided to embrace this trait of mine, and start to document the truly monumental spills. It will have to be on the honor system that you just trust I will not orchestrate any of the spills.

More to follow...

Blast from the Past

I was going through some old photos...

Getting things done...

Before our big trek to Alaska, we're going to try and do some things around here before we leave. We went to the Travis Air Force Base Air Museum. There's a bunch of old planes to check out. The kids dig it.

My heart overfloweth

I just wanted to say, that it looks as though I have more than two readers. So...thank you. I love you all.

Jaunt to Canada

(to my one, maybe two devoted readers)

I was able to go to Toronto for the IAJE (International Association for Jazz Education) Conference through work. We stayed in a killer hotel, and I also got to hook up with my good friend Steve Cooper who lives there, who I haven't seen since my wedding in over 10 years ago. We had a good time catching up, and walking around downtown. We also had hat night in the Toronto Souvenir Shops. Always a good time.

The conference was okay. Nothing spectacular. I got to hang with a bunch different AF Band cats, and hear a lot of good stories about that. So that was pretty hip. I'm glad I got to go, but I think they should rethink having their conference here ever again.

Until next time...
